Robert Lee Carmichael, 81, of Bloomfield, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2024, at the IU Hospice House in Bloomington.
He was Born September 7, 1943, in Linton, Indiana, the son of Alvin Weir and Gladys Naomi (Crowe) Carmichael.
Bob was a Lab Technician for Seneca Sales in Kokomo, Indiana. He enjoyed basketball and watching games on TV. He coached basketball at Eastern in the 1970s, and later at L&M., He was also a history teacher and a substitute teacher at WRV.
Bob is survived by his son, Eric Carmichael of Bloomfield.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Joann Norris, half-sister, Ruby Cazee, and his parents.
There will be no services or public visitation for Bob as his wish was to be cremated.
Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
