BEDFORD—The 2024 Claude Akins Memorial Golf Classic was a historic success. The event brought a record-breaking 110 teams, totaling 660 golfers. The beloved tournament is a fundraiser for Bedford Recreation Foundation Inc., which raised over $58,000 to be used within our community this year.
The Bedford Recreation Foundation Board of Directors—Thomas S. Elliott (Board President), Joseph S. Elliott (Golf Tournament Chairman/Board Member), Misty Adams, Holly Davis, Jimmy Jones, and Jesse McKee—extends its heartfelt appreciation to everyone who contributed to the success of the 2024 Claude Akins Golf Classic.
