JASPER- The Spirit of Jasper will run throughout September and October with three types of rides available. Spirit of Autumn Ride and Dine, Fine Chocolate Wine and Dine, and Ride and Dine events will take place on weekends only, and a limited quantity of tickets are available.
Spirit of Autumn Ride and Dines are set for the Saturdays and Sundays of October. Saturday rides will depart at 4:00 p.m. Sunday rides depart at 11:30 a.m. Enjoy a 2 1⁄2 hour train ride with a catered meal included while taking in the fall scenery. Relax in a climate-controlled train that has comfortable seating and a cash bar. Celebrate a special occasion or schedule a laid-back occasion with friends and family. The cost is $70/ticket.
Enjoy a wine tasting and indulge in chocolates from Chocolate Bliss onboard the Spirit of Jasper Train. The final chocolate, wine and dine ride is set for Saturday, October 5, from 6:00 – 8:30 p.m. The experience starts with boxed truffles upon boarding. As the train departs, a wine tasting begins. Dinner is then served on the train. Complete the experience with a chocolate mousse for dessert and one final wine tasting served in a chocolate cup. Climb on board to enjoy a climate-controlled train, comfortable seating, and a cash bar. Celebrate a special occasion or schedule a laid-back night with friends and family. The cost is $95/ticket.
A ride-and-dine ride is set for Saturday, September 28, from 6:00 – 8:30 p.m. Dinner will be served on the train. Climb aboard for a delicious meal, including baked chicken, pork loin with cinnamon apple glaze, German fries, corn, green beans, creamy slaw, dinner rolls, and peach crisp for dessert.
