BEDFORD—The Lawrence County Commissioners on Tuesday morning awarded Flynn & Sons Excavating & Paving the contract to remove snow from Courthouse Square, the Lawrence County Security Center, and Courthouse Plaza, including the rear parking lots and front and back sidewalks and steps.
The contract is in effect from November 1 through March 31, 2025.
- Uniloader with operator – $85 an hour
- Backhoe with operator – $85 an hour
- Sand and Salt – $100 a ton
- Laborer to manually clean walks – $30 an hour
- Straight Salt for walks – $30 for a 50-pound bag
Commissioner Dustin Gabhart said Flynn & Son has provided this service to the county for several years at a reasonable cost and has done great work.
