George Patton, 80, of Springville, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2024, at Paoli Health & Living Center in Paoli.
Born April 8, 1944, in Avoca, he was the son of Enoch O. and Gertie (New) Patton. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Vietnam War and had worked for CAAA, Crane. He was a loving, wonderful, and caring man who will be missed.
Survivors include his companion, Dianne Moore, of Bedford; he was Papaw to Caitlin and Cassie Moore; a brother, Keith Patton; and several nieces and nephews.
Mildred Stalker, Don Patton, Sammy Patton, Virginia Owen, Kenny Patton, Clifford Patton, James Patton, Linda Patton, and Ronnie Patton were his parents and siblings who preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Friday, September 27th, in the Elmwood Chapel of the
Day & Carter Mortuary, with Nathaniel Kelly officiating. Members of Gillen Post #33 American Legion will accord military rites. Burial will follow in the Hilltop Cemetery.
