BEDFORD—The Men’s Warming Shelter of Bedford’s Spaghetti on the Square event is changing venues due to heavy rain in the forecast and becoming Spaghetti OFF the Square! Originally scheduled to be held at Harp Commons on Bedford Square, it has been relocated to First Christian Church, 1101 15th Street in Bedford, and will still take place from 5-8 p.m. on Saturday, September 28.
The cost is just $10 per person or $25 for a family of four! Spaghetti, meatballs, salad, and garlic bread are on the menu, so come hungry.
Spaghetti on the Square is the Men’s Warming Shelter’s biggest fundraiser of the year. The Shelter partners with other local agencies to meet the basic human needs of disadvantaged men in Lawrence County. Their goal is to move clients towards independent living by attaining critical services, employment, housing, and adopting a healthy lifestyle. They are a critical element in our community, and Spaghetti on the Square is an affordable and fun way to support them.
