Seymour man charged again for practicing dentistry without a license

SEYMOUR— Fredy P. Felipe-Pascual, a 31-year-old Seymour resident, has been charged for a second time with practicing dentistry without a license, according to Jackson Circuit Court records.

Felipe-Pascual was booked into the Jackson County Jail just after midnight on Sunday and remains in custody as of Monday afternoon. No court date or bond has been set for the latest case.

The Seymour Police Department responded to a medical call on Saturday regarding unauthorized dental practices. Following the call, officers obtained a search warrant for a residence in The Village Green mobile home park, located south of downtown Seymour. During the search, authorities discovered numerous dental instruments, medications, and makeshift dental tools, all of which were collected as evidence.

This is not Felipe-Pascual’s first charge; he was previously charged on March 22 in Jackson Circuit Court with practicing dentistry without a license, as well as unlawful possession of a legend drug and criminal recklessness. He was released on a $1,500 bond while awaiting a pretrial conference scheduled for October 25.

Those facing criminal charges are considered innocent unless convicted through due legal proceedings. Accusations alone do not imply guilt; the judicial system will evaluate the presented evidence to reach a verdict.
