BROWN COUNTY— Indiana Department of Transportation maintenance crews plan to conduct temporary closures on State Road 135 south of Story beginning on or after Monday, October 7, to complete a series of culvert replacement projects in Brown County.
Crews will begin with an initial closure between Christiansburg Road and Hamilton Creek Road and will complete two culvert replacements at this location. Crews will continue to conduct additional closures along S.R. 135 for culvert replacement work, and INDOT will provide specific information as work progresses. Work at each closure location is expected to take up to one day, with overall work on S.R. 135 expected to take up to one week, weather permitting. Crews plan to work between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. each day.
INDOT reminds motorists to slow down, use caution, and drive distraction-free in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
