Rene H. Brock, 63, of Silverville, passed away Friday, October 4, 2024, at her residence.
She was born November 1, 1960, to Willie Dale and Esther (Gaither) Brock.
Rene was a 1979 BNL graduate who worked for Lawrence County Waste Management, Carpenters, and Fines Manufacturing. She was of the Christian faith and loved taking her grandchildren and family fishing, crocheting, and making jewelry. She was also an animal rescuer and an avid music lover.
Surviving to cherish Rene’s memory are her mother, Esther; two brothers, William (Stella) Brock and Jack (Jennifer) Brock; one son, John (Jennifer) Norris; four grandchildren, Americus Wonder, Colton Norris, Ashlynn Norris, and Dalton Beatty; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Rene was preceded in death by her father, Willie, and brother, David Anthony Brock.
Funeral services for Rene will be held Thursday, October 10, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., at the Fayetteville Baptist Church in Fayetteville, with Pastor Kenny Walden officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Regular Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will also be on Thursday, October 10th , from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
