RTC Communications invests nearly $1 Million to expand fiber network in Daviess and Martin Counties

DAVIESS/MARTIN CO. — RTC Communications has announced a significant investment of nearly $1 million to expand its fiber network into Daviess and Martin Counties. This initiative aims to bring high-speed fiber internet service to residents in northeast Daviess County and the Town of Crane in northern Martin County, addressing a growing demand for reliable connectivity in these underserved areas.

The expansion project will extend from the Farlen area along U.S. 231, progressing eastward into the Town of Crane. This upgrade promises to enhance internet access for numerous homes and businesses, improving opportunities for education, telecommuting, and local commerce.

The expansion’s engineering and construction phase is projected to take approximately four to six months. Upon completion, residents and businesses in the newly served areas will have access to various internet service packages tailored to meet varying needs.
