BLOOMINGTON— The Monroe County Health Equity Council, with support from the United Way of South Central Indiana and other local Bloomington organizations, is hosting the Monroe County Health Care Summit on Monday, October 14th, from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at the Ferguson Crestmont Boys & Girls Club, 1111 West 12th Street in Bloomington.
This event will provide an opportunity for direct communication between community members and representatives from HealthNet, IU Health, and the Monroe County Health Department. Michelle Gilchrist, President and CEO of the Bloomington Health Foundation, will moderate a conversation with the health care organizations, followed by a facilitated small group discussion.
Dinner will be provided, and other healthcare organizations will attend to share information on their available resources in the community.
