PAOLI– Pregnant women and those with a baby up to age two are invited to join the Orange County Community Baby Shower from 10 am – 2 pm on Saturday, Nov. 16, at the Orange County Community Center (1075 Sandy Hook Road, Paoli, IN).
Interested individuals should register to attend on this webpage.
“The Orange County Community Baby Shower is designed to be a fun and educational event that can connect parents and parents-to-be to helpful resources in their community,” said Whitney Zapien, BSN, RN, IU Health Paoli Hospital Clinical Manager. “It truly takes a village to raise a child, and we’re excited to be able to offer this opportunity to our community.”
The Community Baby Shower will be a walk-through event with several vendors highlighting community services related to maternal and child safety. As space allows, walk-in classes covering breastfeeding, labor and delivery, safe sleep, and postpartum emotions are open to participants. Preregistration, available via the registration link above, is required for the car seat clinic and Hands-Only CPR offerings.
“This event covers a variety of topics important to new and soon-to-be parents, so please register and join us on November 16,” says Zapien.
Hoosier Uplands, HOPE Resource Center, IU Health Paoli Hospital, LIFE Family Resource Center of Orange County, Orange County Community Foundation, Orange County WIC, and Southern Indiana Community Health Care are all event partners.
