SEYMOUR — The Seymour Evening Lions Club will hold its 57th annual Halloween Parade and Costume Contest at 6 p.m. on Monday, October 28, after the Downtown Trick or Treat.
The parade will begin at the Post Office at Fourth and Chestnut streets in downtown Seymour and will continue to the American Legion parking lot on Second Street where the costume contest will take place. The Seymour High School Marching Band will lead the parade. Judging of costumes will be by age categories.
Age groups: 2 years and under, 3 and 4-year-olds, 5 and 6-year-olds, 7-9 years old, 10-13 years old, 14-20 years, and 21 years and older. Prizes will be awarded in each group and category, and treats will be available to all contestants.
