The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra welcomes conductor Fabien Gabel and pianist George Li for Beethoven’s “Emperor” Concerto, Oct. 25-26

INDIANAPOLIS—Superstar American pianist George Li returns to perform Beethoven’s brilliant “Emperor” Concerto following his triumphant ISO debut. Fabien Gabel conducts the revolutionary Prelude and Liebestod to Wagner’s Tristan and Isolde, a piece that shattered conventions and forever changed the arc of music history. The concert opens with boisterous preludes from each act of Engelbert Humperdinck’s opera Königskinder.
