Your Guide to Early and Election Day Voting: Where to Cast Your Ballot

BEDFORD—With a monumental election approaching on November 5th, it’s time to look at the multiple voting locations in Bedford and Mitchell so you can make a plan to make your voice heard.

If you would like to vote early, you have plenty of options. Until November 4th, you can vote at the Lawrence County Voter Registration Office (918 16th St, Suite 200, Bedford, IN 47421.) Until November 1st, the weekday hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. For Saturday, October 26th, and November 2nd, the hours are 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. For November 4th, the day before the election, the hours are 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

You can vote at the Mitchell Community Center (located at 101 Tom Green Drive, Mitchell, IN 47446) on Saturday, October 26th, and Saturday, November 2nd, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

On the election day, November 5th, the voting hours are 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. You can vote at any of the following locations:

  • Lawrence County Courthouse (South Side Entrance)
  • Parkview Intermediate School (gymnasium)
  • Mitchell Community Center
  • 4-H Fairgrounds
  • BNL School (cafeteria)
  • Needmore Elementary School (gymnasium)
  • Springville Community Academy (gymnasium)
