MITCHELL- The Mitchell Marching Band traveled to Madison Consolidated High School on Thursday, October 24th, for the Madison Marching Showcase. The Madison Marching Showcase is a non-competitive marching band event that “showcases” the skills and talents of bands similar to Mitchell.
The Sound of the Swarm show features original Music by Joshua V. Hinkle and “The Lonely” by Christina Pierre, Band director Paul Pfiefer, and Color Guard instructor Sydney Harris.
The Mitchell Marching Band will hold a Community Showcase on Friday, November 1st, at 6:00 p.m. on the football field. Please come out and show your support for this group.
On Saturday, November 9th, Mitchell will travel to Simon Kenton High School in Kentucky to compete in the Mid-States Prelims and Finals.
