DAVIESS CO. – The Daviess County Economic Development Corporation (DCEDC) has announced that Tony Wichman has received the prestigious 2024 Art Body Award. This recognition highlights Wichman’s significant contributions to the community over the years.
Eric Lane, Chairman of the DCEDC, praised Wichman’s extensive accomplishments, which include serving four terms as a county commissioner, dedicating 27 years as fire chief and EMT, and building a distinguished career in community banking. Lane emphasized that Wichman’s commitment to public service and community enhancement has had a lasting impact on Daviess County.
The Art Body Award is presented annually to individuals who have demonstrated exceptional service and dedication to the region’s economic and social development. Wichman’s diverse roles reflect a deep commitment to improving Daviess County’s residents’ lives.
