ORLEANS—Orleans is gearing up for a festive Halloween celebration. Its annual Trick or Treat event is scheduled for Thursday, October 31, from 6 to 9 p.m.
Residents who wish to participate in the festivities and welcome young “ghosts” and “goblins” are encouraged to turn on their outdoor porch or patio lights during the designated hours. This simple gesture helps signal that homes are ready for trick-or-treaters.
In addition to traditional trick-or-treating, families are invited to stop by downtown Orleans on Second Street between Washington and Jefferson. Members of the Orleans Police and Fire Departments will be on hand to interact with the community and distribute treats, adding an extra layer of fun to the evening.
With the spooky season in full swing, Orleans residents and visitors look forward to a safe and enjoyable Halloween night filled with excitement and camaraderie.
