BEDFORD — Bedford Police Department officers arrested a man following a battery that occurred during a domestic dispute on October 22 in a home located in the 1000 block of Central Avenue.
Nathan Elliott, 41, was arrested following an incident of battery that occurred on October 22, 2024, at his residence located at 1919 Central Ave.
Officers responded to a report of a physical altercation and arrived to find 41-year-old Elliott and a female at the scene. Nathan Elliott admitted to having been involved in a prior domestic incident earlier in the day but provided further details about a confrontation with two women.
According to police reports, Nathan Elliott approached one of the women in an aggressive manner during a brief argument, ultimately striking her on the right side of the head and face with an open palm. Eyewitness accounts from two juveniles corroborated the woman’s account, stating they saw Elliott shove her, causing her to fall to the ground.
The woman requested to file battery charges against Elliott.
He was transported to the Lawrence County Jail on charges of battery causing bodily injury.
During the investigation, the victim did a Portable Breath Test (PBT), which indicated a blood alcohol concentration of 0.029.
