BLOOMINGTON—The Monroe County Democratic Party is inviting the community to a special watch party on November 5th to celebrate the results of the upcoming general election.
The event, co-hosted by Bloomington City Clerk Nicole Bolden, Monroe County Councilperson Jennifer Crossley, and Bloomington Common Councilperson Sydney Zulich, will take place at the John Waldron Arts Center from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
“The tide is turning in Indiana, and we look forward to celebrating the hard work of our candidates up and down the ballot in this critical election year,” said David Henry, MCDP Chair.
All Democratic candidates, their supporters, and supporters at large in Monroe County are welcome to attend the event, which will feature victory speeches from winning candidates and live music performances.
“This is a chance for our community to come together, support our local leaders, and look ahead to the positive change we can bring to Monroe County,” said Crossley. “We encourage everyone to join us in marking this important milestone.”
The General Election Watch Party is open to the public, and admission is free. The John Waldron Arts Center is at 122 South Walnut Street in downtown Bloomington.
