Orleans trick-or-treat is on for Thursday with contingency plans in place

ORLEANS – Orleans Town officials have announced that trick-or-treating in Orleans is still set for Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. Residents who wish to welcome the little ghosts and goblins are encouraged to have their outdoor porch and/or patio lights on during those hours.

Several area churches have contingency plans for indoor trunk or treat activities in case of inclement weather.

Orleans Police and Fire will be set up downtown on the southwest corner of the Town Square and welcome trick or treaters to stop by for a treat.
