INDIANAPOLIS – Governor Eric J. Holcomb directs flags to be flown at half-staff in Noble County in honor and remembrance of U.S. Army SGT Sarah Roque.

Flags should be flown at half-staff in Noble County from sunrise until sunset on Saturday, Nov. 2. Gov. Holcomb is asking businesses and residents to lower their flags as well.

Officials are investigating the death of a soldier, who went missing and was later found dead at Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri, as murder.

The U.S. Army has charged Specialist Wooster Rancy, 21, of the 5th Engineer Battalion, for his role in the death of 23-year-old Sgt. Sarah Roque.

Assistant Deputy Director Mark H. Lunardi told Newsweek authorities found her body in an area adjacent to single soldier housing on Fort Leonard Wood.
