Dubois County deputies seize over 50 grams of meth found in safe hidden in rafters

DUBOIS CO. — An ongoing investigation by the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office led to the arrest of a Jasper man on Monday, October 25th, on multiple felony drug charges.

Deputies executed a search warrant at the residence of 45-year-old Clinton Allen, where they discovered over 150 grams of methamphetamine along with various items of drug paraphernalia. Notably, a black safe hidden in the rafters of Allen’s home contained five separate bags holding more than 155 grams of methamphetamine.

Allen now faces several serious charges, including dealing and possession of meth, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He is held in the Dubois County Security Center on a $25,000 bond. Authorities are investigating the case and gathering more information.

Those facing criminal charges are considered innocent unless convicted through due legal proceedings. Accusations alone do not imply guilt; the judicial system will evaluate the presented evidence to reach a verdict.
