Daviess Community Hospital announces 2nd Annual Festival of Trees to benefit local health programs

MONTGOMERY – Daviess Community Hospital is excited to announce the 2nd Annual Festival of Trees. This festive and heartwarming event will support the hospital’s Mobile Integrated Health and Perinatal Pathways programs. It will occur on Saturday, November 16, at the Montgomery Ruritan Club, 6907 Park Road in Montgomery.

This year’s festival promises to be a magical holiday season celebration featuring uniquely decorated Christmas trees, a silent auction, a festive catered meal, live entertainment, and much more. The trees, each beautifully designed by individuals, businesses, and organizations, will be auctioned off during the evening’s activities, with proceeds benefiting these two essential hospital programs.

This year’s theme is “Winter Wonderland.”

“A Festival of Trees showcases Christmas trees, each beautifully and uniquely decorated, and then auctioned off during an exciting night of community and holiday spirit,” said Carrie Shaw, chair of the Daviess Community Hospital Festival of Trees committee. “This event brings together the community to celebrate the season and raise vital funds for two incredible programs that impact the health and well-being of our residents.”

Event Schedule

3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
The festival will open to the public for viewing and voting on their favorite decorated trees. This portion of the event is free, providing a wonderful opportunity for families to come together, enjoy the festive atmosphere, and participate in the voting for the People’s Choice Award.

5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
The venue will briefly close as organizers prepare for the evening’s ticketed activities and tally the People’s Choice Award votes.

The ticketed portion of the event will begin, featuring the announcement of the People’s Choice Award winner, a cash bar, and a silent auction. Guests can mingle, bid on items, and enjoy the holiday ambiance.
