BEDFORD – Southern Indiana’s Classic Hits 105.5 WQRK is teaming up with Jay-C Plus once again for a “Stuff a Bus” event on Saturday, November 23, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The community is invited to support L.I.F.E. Food Pantry by donating personal care and food items to the organization.
Stuff A Bus is held annually to help restock L.I.F.E.’s shelves. Swing on over and drop off donations from home, or while you’re out shopping, pick up a few items to donate. We need your help to continue helping those in need in our community. Even just one item helps! We’re looking to fill the bus with donations in time for Thanksgiving.
Southern Indiana Classic Hits and Litefm 102.5 will be on-site to collect donations. The public is encouraged to donate non-perishable food items, toiletries, and cleaning supplies. Some items L.I.F.E. needs most are:
- Canned meats
- Flour/sugar
- Macaroni and cheese
- Canned soup
- Canned fruit
- Dish detergent
- Toilet paper
L.I.F.E. is a local organization dedicated to providing essential services and support to individuals and families in need. L.I.F.E. was started in 1983 and is now a cooperative ministry supported by over 40 churches throughout Lawrence County. They distribute over 12,000 items monthly to families in Lawrence County and provide emergency rent/utility assistance. This “Stuff a Bus” event is an opportunity to come together and make a positive impact on those less fortunate in our community.
