BEDFORD, IN – The Lawrence County Commissioners have approved using the old Huron School property as a designated helicopter landing zone for emergencies.
The Huron Fire Department’s request was unanimously approved by the commissioners during their recent meeting.
The new landing zone will provide a safe, accessible area for helicopters to land during critical emergency response operations, such as medical evacuations or other urgent situations requiring air transport.
