MITCHELL- Burris Elementary School is hosting a Holiday Food Drive to add food items to the Bluejacket Blessings closet. This care closet at the school has clothing items, coats, winter gear, personal care products, school supplies, and snacks for blessings in a backpack. Impending cold weather months and holiday expenses can make finances tight at this time of year, and donations are being sought to ensure the students of Burris have food to eat this winter. See the list below for what specific items Burris is collecting and send them with your child or drop them off at the school, 1755 W Hancock Ave, Mitchell, November 25 through December 17.
