LOOGOOTEE – The Martin County Humane Society invites community members to volunteer at its second Volunteer Clean-Up Day on Saturday, December 7. The event will run from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., and volunteers are encouraged to participate in either a morning or afternoon session, depending on availability.
The Martin County Humane Society is at 507 North Oak Street in Loogootee.
The clean-up day offers a valuable opportunity for animal lovers to come together and support the shelter’s mission to care for animals in need. Volunteers will be assigned various tasks to help maintain and improve the facility, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for the animals awaiting adoption.
Individuals can sign up here to participate. There, they will find detailed information about team assignments and any additional details about the day’s activities. The event is open to anyone willing to lend a hand, regardless of experience or physical ability.
The Humane Society is also encouraging support through donations. The organization has created an Amazon Wishlist with a list of much-needed items. Donating from the wishlist is a convenient way to contribute to the shelter’s work and help improve the lives of the animals in their care.
Whether through volunteering or donating, every contribution helps ensure these animals receive the care and attention they deserve.
Make a difference for animals in need—sign up today and help the Martin County Humane Society provide a better future for the animals it cares for.
