Bloomington Mayor Kerry Thomson hosts public engagement opportunities next week

BLOOMINGTON – Next week, Mayor Kerry Thomson will host two public engagement events, offering Bloomington residents the opportunity to connect with City leadership, ask questions, and provide feedback on city projects:

Annexation Listening Session
Monday, Dec. 9 • 5:30–6:30 p.m.
Monroe County Public Library—Southwest Branch, 890 W. Gordon Pike

This session, led by Mayor Kerry Thomson and Margie Rice, Corporation Counsel for the City of Bloomington, will focus on the annexation process. The discussion will address resident feedback and examine how annexation impacts Bloomington’s future.

This event will be broadcast live and recorded for later viewing through Community Access Television Services (CATS), ensuring accessibility for those unable to attend in person.
