Enjoy the music of Kirby Stailey at the Mitchell Opera House Dec. 14

MITCHELL- Don’t miss Kirby Stailey at Mitchell Opera House at 7 p.m. on December 14th. It’s going to be a show you don’t want to miss.

Kirby Stailey’s passion is Jesus Christ……his God-given ability is singing and songwriting. When you
mesh the two together, you have a spiritual and musical experience like no other. Kirby first stepped
up to the microphone in front of a church congregation at age 5. From that point on, music and
performing held a special place in his life. It was not until over 30 years later that he would mesh his
love for music with his love for Jesus Christ to bring lost souls to Christ. Kirby just released his 5th
album overall and his second with Chapel Valley Records. Prior to coming on board with Chapel
Valley, in 2013, released (3) independent projects: We Know The Way (2009), Here To Testify
(2010), and Sunday Drive (2012). All were recorded with long-time friend and Producer Tyson
Knight. He signed with Chapel Valley Records in 2013 and released his highly acclaimed “Sowin’
Seeds” project was produced by award-winning Christian-Country producer Shane Roark. He followed
this project with the EP “That’s What Brothers Do” in 2015. All combined, the 5 projects contain 34
original songs, 33 of which Kirby wrote. Kirby has performed at the US Capitol Building in
Washington D.C. as part of National Police Week, The Indiana Statehouse, the National Quartet
Convention, Faith Rocks, Holiday World, and the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, TN. to name a few. He
is currently a SESAC-affiliated songwriter. Many of his songs receive airplay, and some are in regular
rotation at local radio stations and internet radio. He is a former local winner and State finalist of the

Colgate Country Showdown and was a former Regional Finalist on the hit TV show “The Voice.”
He has done live performances and interviews on numerous radio and TV stations. Kirby performs
at nearly 100 live events per year throughout Indiana. He has played at events alongside The
President of the United States, The Governor of Indiana, Eric Church, and Hawk Nelson, to name a
few. Kirby’s thoughts on his career: “I have the sole purpose and calling to bring people into a
relationship with Jesus Christ through my music. My biggest musical achievement by far has been
and always will be seeing hurt and lost souls come forward to accept Jesus Christ as their personal
Lord and Savior. There is no amount of money, fame, awards, or #1 hits that could even come close
to what it is like to see just one soul saved.” Kirby performs at fairs, festivals, churches, revivals,
youth camps, benefits, and various private events just to name a few. “I only concern myself with
fulfilling the will and direction of Jesus Christ through my music. I feel that he has a plan for great
works through the gifts and abilities that he has given me.”
