BEDFORD— North Lawrence Community Schools (NLCS) is excited to announce the launch of its inaugural district-wide newsletter, STAR BLAST. STAR BLAST is designed to keep the community informed and connected to the district’s achievements and initiatives. Starting this month, STAR BLAST will serve as a monthly publication, highlighting the outstanding work done by students, staff, and families across the district.
In the first edition, STAR BLAST covers a range of exciting updates and features, including:
- Celebrations of student and staff achievements
- Insights into innovative programs shaping the future of NLCS students
- A preview of upcoming events and opportunities for community involvement
“At North Lawrence, our schools are much more than just classrooms—they are places where futures are built,” said David VanLandingham, Director of Communications for the district. “Through STAR BLAST, we want our community to feel connected to the incredible work happening in our schools and to be inspired by the successes and stories of our students and educators.”
STAR BLAST will feature a mix of celebrations, updates, and opportunities to engage with the district’s ongoing initiatives. Focusing on fostering a sense of community, the newsletter aims to strengthen the bond between the district and the families, alumni, and supporters who play a vital role in NLCS’s success.
“We are so proud of the remarkable students, staff, and families that make North Lawrence such a special place,” VanLandingham added. “This newsletter is our way of sharing those stories and keeping everyone informed and engaged in the educational journey.”
