Two Vincennes men arrested on meth charges after traffic stop near Bicknell

BICKNELL — Two Vincennes men were arrested late Thursday, December 5th, on drug charges following a traffic stop near Bicknell.

According to the Knox County Sheriff’s Department, a deputy conducted a routine stop, during which canine Blast alerted the officer to the possible presence of illegal drugs in the vehicle. A subsequent vehicle search uncovered a clear glass pipe and a digital scale with white residue.

The driver, 31-year-old Marcus Perez, and his passenger, 59-year-old Timothy Oesterle, were found to have more than 10 grams of methamphetamine. Both men were arrested and charged with dealing and possession of meth over 10 grams.

Both Perez and Oesterle were taken into custody without incident and are facing serious drug-related charges. Authorities continue to investigate the case.

Those facing criminal charges are considered innocent unless convicted through due legal proceedings. Accusations alone do not imply guilt; the judicial system will evaluate the presented evidence to reach a verdict.
