LAWRENCE COUNTY- The Lawrence County Solid Waste Management District has released its holiday schedule. The affected sites and dates are as follows:
The administration office will be closed on December 24th, 25th, 31st, and January 1st.
The Transfer Station will close at noon on December 24th. If you have a payload, you must be across the scale by 11:40 a.m. It will be closed on Christmas Day. It will be open normal hours on New Year’s Eve and closed on New Year’s Day.
Recycle Center will close on Christmas Eve at 4:00 pm and close on Christmas Day. New Year’s Eve 6:00 am – 4:00 pm, closed New Year’s Day.
Compactor sites: Heltonville, Silverville, Needmore, and Star Stop will be open from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. All compactor sites will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
