BRAZIL – West Central Indiana sheriffs and members of the Optimist Club are inviting K-6 students and their families to a free “Breakfast With Santa” on December 14 at the Indiana Sheriffs’ Youth Ranch (ISYR). The fourth annual holiday event will occur from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at the Sheriffs’ Lodge & Conference Center, located just south of Brazil, Indiana, at 5325 N. State Road 59.
The event is open to all families, and no reservations are required. Free parking is available, including designated handicapped spaces.
The breakfast, sponsored by the Clay County Optimist Club and the ISYR Chaplain’s Fund, will feature an all-you-can-eat menu, including pancakes, cereal, sausage, juices, and milk.
A special Santa workshop will be set up for young attendees to create keepsake ornaments and write letters to Santa, which they can hand-deliver to St. Nicholas himself.
Optimist Club leaders encourage parents and grandparents to bring their kids with big appetites and smartphones or cameras to capture unforgettable selfies with Santa. This annual event promises to be a festive and fun way for families to celebrate the holiday season together.
