Marty D. Lane, 59, of Mitchell, passed away on December 10, 2024, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born in Bedford on January 13, 1965, the son of Roy K. Lane and Hazel (Hutchinson) Lane. Marty was a mechanic, and did small engine repairs; in recent years, he has been disabled. Survivors include his daughter, Kayla Lane of Mitchell, his granddaughter, Hayden Bell of Mitchell, his mother, Hazel Lane of Bedford, four sisters, Kathy Riggle of Bedford, Dee Porter of Bedford, Tammy Lagenour of Bedford, and Debbie Turpin of Bedford, several nieces, and nephews. Marty was preceded in death by his father, Roy K. Lane, his wife, Connie Lane, and brother, Roy Lane, Jr.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at 4:00 PM at Cresthaven Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens, and visitation will be on Tuesday, December 17, from 1:00 PM until service time at 4:00 PM at the funeral home; condolences may be at www.cresthavenfh.com.
