ORLEANS – The Orleans section of the Monon South Trail will officially open to the public on Thursday, December 19th.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will occur at 1 p.m. at the Monon South Trailhead at the Jefferson and Franklin Streets intersection.
Attendees can enjoy hot chocolate and snacks while listening to remarks from community leaders, trail organizers, and state and local representatives about the significance of the trail opening. The event celebrates the culmination of efforts to enhance recreational opportunities in the area.
