DAVIESS CO. – Daviess County emergency crews responded to a report of a vehicle trapped in floodwaters yesterday afternoon near County Roads 575 East and 500 North intersection.
Initial reports indicated that water was entering the vehicle, with two people inside. Upon arrival, emergency responders determined the car had stalled on the roadway. Thankfully, both occupants were unharmed.
A local Good Samaritan aided the stranded individuals, safely pulling the vehicle from the water.
Authorities remind all motorists to exercise caution and avoid driving through flooded roadways, as conditions can change rapidly and pose serious risks.
