MADISON – Bedford North Lawrence’s Alivia Crane recorded a match victory at 145 pounds during girls high school wrestling action in the Lady Cub Classic on Saturday.
Crane carded a technical fall triumph (with an 16-1 lead at 4:29) over Jennings County’s Aryan Taylor in the second round. Crane finished with a 1-3 record in the event.
Other competitors for the Stars included Savannah Wagner (0-4 at 110) and Ariana Andis (0-3 at 190).
BNL will compete in the Holiday Classic at Mooresville on Dec. 28.
