Paul A. Chambers, Jr., 77, of Bloomington, passed away at his residence on Sunday, December 29, 2024.
He was born in Lebanon on April 5, 1947, to Paul A. Chambers, Sr., and Daisy Chambers. Paul married Cindy Lou on July 20, 2014, and she survives. Paul retired from GE in Bloomington, where he was a tool & die maker after 43 years; he was a veteran of the US Army, a member of the F.O.P. Lodge, and an avid fisherman.
Survivors include his wife, Cindy Lou of Bloomington; one son, Paul A. Chambers, III of Bloomington; one daughter, Lori (Tony) Nicholson of Bedford; three grandchildren, Taylor Chambers, Alex Nicholson, and Macee Nicholson; one sister, Erma Stevens of Bloomington; four stepdaughters, Angie Bault of Spencer, Vickie Miller of Alaska, Syndi McGinn of Ellettsville, and Joani Solis Powell of Bloomington, 17 step-grandchildren, and 11 step-great-grandchildren.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Wilma Hodge and Pauline Chambers.
Cremation was chosen, with a celebration of Paul’s life at a later date.
