INDIANA – The Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR) again invites residents to participate in its annual Deer Management Survey. The survey allows the public to share their opinions on the management of white-tailed deer in the state.
This electronic survey collects feedback on various topics related to deer management, including deer population trends, hunting regulations, and critical issues such as Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) and land access for hunters. It also covers aspects like the types of hunting equipment allowed in the state.
Anyone interested in participating can opt-in by visiting the Deer Management Survey webpage on the Indiana DNR website. For those who have filled out the survey in previous years, you will automatically receive a survey invitation in future years.
The DNR uses the feedback collected through this survey to guide its deer management strategies at both the state and county levels, helping to ensure a sustainable and responsible approach to wildlife management.
