Monroe Fire Protection District firefighters extinguish vehicle fire

MONROE CO. – On Sunday, January 5th, in the afternoon, Monroe Fire Protection District Engine 23 and Battalion 29 quickly responded to a vehicle fire at the intersection of South Leonard Spring and West May Roads.

The fire, which broke out in a vehicle, was swiftly extinguished by the responding fire crews. Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the incident.

The Monroe Fire Protection District has not released further details about the cause of the fire. Still, their swift and coordinated response prevented further damage or risk to the surrounding area.
