DAVIESS CO. – The Daviess County Visitor’s Bureau has announced Amber Warden as its new Executive Director, effective January 1, 2025. Warden, who brings more than two years of experience with Discover Downtown Washington, as well as a background in community coordination at the Daviess County Economic Development Corporation (DCEDC), is poised to lead efforts to promote Daviess County as a premier tourism destination in Southern Indiana.
In her new role, Warden will spearhead various initiatives designed to attract visitors to the region, focusing on strategic marketing, enhancing the overall visitor experience, and fostering partnerships with local businesses. Her leadership will highlight Daviess County’s unique culture, rich history, and natural beauty to a broader audience, further establishing the area as a must-visit destination in Southern Indiana.
Warden’s previous roles in economic development and downtown revitalization sectors have provided her with the experience and knowledge necessary to navigate the complexities of tourism marketing and community engagement. Her deep understanding of the local community and passion for promoting Daviess County’s assets are expected to serve her well as she takes on this new leadership position.
