Kenny J. Kirchner

Kenny J. Kirchner was arrested Tuesday following the incident in the 6200 block of Northfield Drive. Seymour Police responded around 12:25 p.m. to reports of gunfire outside an apartment complex.

According to Lt. C.J. Foster, Kirchner fired three shots into the air after becoming upset about someone parking in a spot he had cleared of snow. Following his arrest, police executed a search warrant at his residence, where they discovered marijuana, ammunition, and anabolic steroids.

Kirchner faces Level 6 felony charges of criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon, maintaining a common nuisance, and possession of a Schedule III controlled substance. He also faces a Class A misdemeanor charge for marijuana possession.

Those facing criminal charges are considered innocent unless convicted through due legal proceedings. Accusations alone do not imply guilt; the judicial system will evaluate the presented evidence to reach a verdict.
