Terri L. ‘Mammy’ Ritchison, 65, of Bedford, passed away at Monroe Hospital in Bloomington at 7:48 a.m. on Monday, January 13, 2025.
Born June 23, 1959, in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Bill and Deloris (Cobb) Crane. She married Doug Ritchison, and he survives. She worked at Visteon for 30 years and then at Walmart for 10 years. She enjoyed panning for gold, traveling, gardening and crocheting. She loved the animals on her mini-farm. She was passionate and loved her family dearly.
Survivors include her husband of 49 ½ years, Doug; three daughters, Amber Jones, Mandy Streich, and Cassi Ritchison; grandchildren, Michael Ritchison, Garrett Jones, Sean Jones, and Logan Streich and significant other, Annera, Mykah Streich, Alax Streich, Bobby Philpott and wife, Lea, Emily Philpott and significant other, Elias, Ian Jane Philpott; great-grandchildren, Waylon Mains Johnson, Blake Philpott, Zoey Philpott, Savannah Philpott, Addlyn Bartlett, and Keyona Bartlett; siblings, Michelle “Shelly” Ragsdale and husband, Bill, Cheryl Norman, Clarence ‘Billy’ Burton, Jo Anne Fields Spaulding, Diane Stegner, Betty Lindauer, and Debbie Smith; mother-in-law, Peggy Ritchison; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.
She was preceded in death by he parents, Bill and Deloris Crane; her birth mother, Becky; father-in-law, Don Ritchison; brother-in-law, Scott Norman; grandson, Johnny Johnson; granddaughter-in-law, Cecelia Ritchison; sisters, Teresa McCullough and Diana Roll; brothers, Mike and Rick Vanmeter.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 17th, in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary, with Reno Bates and Clarence Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Crawford Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 16th, at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
