BLOOMINGTON — Bloomington Police are investigating a robbery at the Circle K gas station on Kirkwood Avenue late Wednesday night. Authorities say two individuals robbed the store at gunpoint around 10:30 p.m.
According to the Bloomington Police Department, the suspects entered the gas station and demanded money from the cashier. After taking cash and other items, the two fled the scene, running west on Kirkwood Avenue and crossing the street, according to a witness who was pumping gas at the time.
Officers responded quickly to the scene, but despite a search of the surrounding area, they could not locate the suspects.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing, and authorities are asking anyone with information to come forward.
No injuries were reported in the robbery. Police have not yet released descriptions of the suspects involved.
