Quaker Oats issues recall for Pearl Milling Company Pancake Mix due to undeclared milk

INDIANA—Due to undeclared milk, Quaker Oats Company has issued a voluntary recall for a limited number of Pearl Milling Company Original Pancake & Waffle Mix boxes. The affected products, sold in 11 states, could pose a risk to individuals with an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk.

The recall applies to two-pound (32 oz) boxes of Pearl Milling Company Original Pancake & Waffle Mix with the following details:

  • Product Name: Pearl Milling Company Original Pancake & Waffle Mix
  • Size: 32 oz (2 lb) boxes
  • UPC Code: 30000 65040
  • Code Date & Manufacturing Code: BBD SEP 13 25 P

Quaker Oats confirmed that no allergic reactions have been reported to date. Still, they warned that consuming the product could lead to a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction in those with milk allergies or sensitivities.

The affected products were sold starting November 18, 2024, and were available for purchase in the following states:

  • Illinois
  • Indiana
  • Iowa
  • Kansas
  • Kentucky
  • Minnesota
  • Mississippi
  • Nebraska
  • Utah
  • Wisconsin

Consumers who may have purchased the recalled product are advised not to consume and dispose of it immediately. The product is no longer on store shelves, and the recall impacts no other Quaker Oats or Pearl Milling Company products.
