LAWRENCE CO. – Lawrence County families are encouraged to enroll in Indiana 4-H for 2025 to take full advantage of the numerous educational opportunities available.
4-H is a premier youth development program designed to help young people grow through hands-on projects, mentorship, and various activities, including robotics, cooking, animal care, performing arts, and environmental stewardship.

Whether in a rural or urban area, there’s something for every young person in 4-H. With the support of caring adults, 4-H members can make new friends, explore their interests, and develop valuable skills that will benefit them for years to come. In Lawrence County, 4-H is expanding its programming to ensure that there is a project for every youth.
Enrollment for Lawrence County 4-H is quick and easy through the 4HOnline system at https://4honline.com. Youth in grades K-12 can join and explore opportunities such as monthly craft series, robotics, community service projects, animal care, and more. While enrollment is open year-round, early sign-up is encouraged to ensure maximum participation and benefits.
The $20 enrollment fee covers all Indiana 4-H program costs for members in grades 3-12, while Mini 4-H members (grades K-2) can join for just $5. These fees provide access to as many clubs or projects as your child wants to explore.
4-H is the nation’s largest youth organization, and Indiana’s program reaches over 200,000 youth in all 92 counties. In addition to hands-on activities, 4-H offers scholarships, trips, and leadership development opportunities. Lawrence County 4-H also seeks volunteers with unique hobbies or interests to share their crafting, technology, or other passions with members.
The Purdue Extension-Lawrence County Office is available to assist if you’re new to 4-H or need help with enrollment. The office is located at 924 16th Street, Bedford, and is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays.
