Indiana State Police Bremen Post Saturation Patrol results

BREMEN DISTRICT- This past weekend, the Indiana State Police Bremen Post All Crimes Policing Team (ACP) conducted two saturation patrols across the Bremen District.  These proactive patrols focus on removing drunk drivers from our roadways and criminal interdiction through traffic stops.

On Friday night, January 24, 2025, the ACP team focused on the North Webster area in Kosciusko County.  This saturation patrol comprised nine troopers supervised by a squad sergeant. On this night, two arrests were made for operating while intoxicated.  The group also arrested seven individuals for 16 criminal charges.  This proactive patrol resulted in one pursuit, where three people fled on foot.  All were found and arrested.  One male was found after ISP K9, Daisy, tracked him over two miles from where he fled.  The other male was located over a mile away by a Winona Lake K9.  The troopers wrote five tickets and 37 warnings during this night of patrol.

On Saturday night, January 25, 2025, this group of troopers focused on the city of Elkhart in Elkhart County.  One arrest was made for operating while intoxicated.  Five individuals were arrested for 17 criminal charges.  One pursuit was initiated where a female with a gun jumped from the vehicle and fled.  She threw the gun, but ISP K9 Daisy conducted an article search and located the weapon.  The driver continued after the female passenger jumped from the vehicle, later crashing into a parked vehicle in a neighborhood.  He fled on foot and was caught.  The troopers wrote nine tickets, 29 warnings, and two crash reports during this patrol night.
