College Goal Sunday: Free FAFSA assistance available at 39 Indiana locations on February 23rd

INDIANA – Financial aid experts will be at 39 sites across Indiana on Sunday, February 23rd, as part of College Goal Sunday, offering Hoosier families FREE help to file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA.

Financial aid experts, primarily from Indiana colleges and universities across the state, will be available between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Local Time will help all attendees file their FAFSA.

Most colleges, universities, and vocational/technical schools require students seeking federal financial aid, including grants and loans, to complete the FAFSA.  The federal processor must receive the FAFSA form on or before April 15th to be considered “on-time” for Indiana state grant funding.  21st Century Scholars must complete and submit a FAFSA form to claim their 21st Century Scholarship.  College Goal Sunday will help all college-bound students complete the FAFSA correctly.
