Janet Sue Patton, 83, of Bedford passed away at Westview Nursing Home on Thursday, February 6, 2025.
Born on May 1, 1941, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Mary (Hatfield) Hall and Lawrence Hall.
Janet was a dog groomer. She enjoyed cleaning houses, cutting wood, mushroom hunting, mowing grass, and crossword puzzles.
Surviving to cherish the memory of Janet are her two daughters, Jackie Jenkoot and Juli Ratcliff; grandchildren, Kayse Chen, Tim Chen, Mandy Chen, Brandy Chen, Tisa Chen, Lisa Chen, Bob, Kevin, and Bonnie; along with several great-grandchildren.
Her parents preceded her in death: one brother, Larry Ayres; one sister, Holly; stepmom, June Hatfield; stepbrother, Mark; and stepsister, Robin.
Cremation was chosen with no services at this time.
Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes of Bedford has been entrusted with Janet’s care and services.
